Brian May has praised Muse’s new album “The Resistance”.
“I love it,” the Queen guitarist told the BBC. “I think it’s great stuff.
“I think they’re very good boys and extremely talented, and like us they have their tongues in their cheek a lot of the time.”
Muse have taken flak occasionally for what critics perceive as a mimicking of Queen, but May reckons their talents are even more mercurial than those of his old band.
“They are extraordinary musicians,” he continued. “Real virtuosos – much more than I am. I like the way they let their madness show through, always a good thing in an artist.”
