Prickly Oasis chief Noel Gallagher, a lifelong Manchester City fan (who once tried to bar Ryan Giggs from attending one of their concerts) has said that he doesn’t want Chelsea’s John Terry to come to Manchester City, since the defender “has got funny eyes” and is a Cockney “cry baby.” He added that the man with Martian hair, Everton’s Joleon Lescott, would be a better choice instead for the club.

Noel also expressed his dislike of City’s other transfer hopeful, Emmanuel Adebayor, “I don't like all that silly dancing by the corner flag - I prefer a swift handshake and back to the game. We've got Roque Santa Cruz who can do a job in the same position.”

Given that Noel is at least two heads shorter than both Terry and Adebayor, he must have an insane Napoleon complex. Or the nads of a bear.
